Amathing Person

今天出生的數學家共有4人，其中包含1750年出生的義大利數學家Lorenzo Mascheroni（馬斯切羅尼）。

 

在1797年的著作《圓規幾何學》（Geometria del Compasso）中，他證明所有可以用直尺和圓規做出的幾何結構，都可以只利用圓規完成。

早在1672年，Georg Mohr就已經發表了這個證明。不過他的證明一直不清楚，直到Mascheroni才給了明確的證明。

現在這個定理稱為Mohr-Mascheroni定理。
